Dot and next line - for non French speakers

I don’t understand French language but I have concept for solution:
 rewrite sentences to dot
when dot exists, jump to next line and rewrite sentence
but maybe my concept is too simple ?

Next problem it’s understand sentence in foreign language 🙂

I need some suggestions.

Hello Bieli,

"Dot and next line" is just a significant point, just try again and again ..

Next problem it’s understand sentence in foreign language smile

You don’t really need to understand sentence (sorry, i can’t tell you more ..).

Good Luck !

You are on the wrong path and you are complicating it too much.

The solution is very simple and has nothing to do with french.

So, to be clear, that quote from La Fontaine has nothing really to do with the solution, right?

I would have translated the quote for you but it uses some french idioms/puns which just would not make any sense in english and will just throw you off from the answer even more. Besides, the La Fontaine quote won’t help you much. The title of the challenge is already the best hint you can get. In fact, I probably would have found the answer faster wihout the quote :)

so forget the quote 😉

So can we get help for those who are still trying for a hint at it?

hint: dots are the clue but remember we’re talking about stenography so we’re talking about images.
don’t try to construct any algorithm with words.

Il faut arrêter avec cette phrase qui ne veut rien dire et qui n’apporte aucune aide...

Ok so i have tried the 1st letter from each "next line below " and "next letter in line" both doing it for the other dots on that line and not, i have also tried it with whole words both ways described and am at a loss and starting to wonder if these comments are people yanking chains? and or if i am just barking up the wrong tree, and pointers would be much appreciated.

On the thread https://www.root-me.org/?page=forum&id_thread=10858&lang=en Ech0 talks about reading the actual text and taking note of how it’s not written the way people usually write text. Like you, akaBase, I’ve been trying letters and words before and after dots, and that one odd line return, but there are too many variables to crack it (yet).
I wish I knew for sure whether the phrase should be "dot and next line" or "dot and new line" (i.e. newline)?

But at the same time tortugone (above) says it’s about dots (as in dots per inch), not any "algorithm with words". Which suggests it’s something about the file, not the visible text. ???

No this is about the visible text. You don’t need to calculate anything. Just look a the picture and the dots.

Hello,
i could not really figure it out yet with the given hints.
I tried to reformat the text by adding a line break after each dot (not sure if that was supposed to do by the hint "dot and next line") but don’t see any familiar flag format.
Is the flag obvious? Like "pass=xyzxyzxyz"?

When y’all say dots, do you mean the periods or some other "dots"? Or would that be giving away too much?

1. It has nothing to do with French language.
2. It’s not related to the "dots and next lines"
3. It is about the dots, but not the next lines :). The title is confusing...
4. Just think about all possibilities to hide a secret message with dots and NOT next lines...
4. That’s all I can give you as a hint.

I thought there might be a micro-image somewhere within this file but i’ve been over every inch of this picture!

Am I using the right method or am I on the wrong track? :(

I found something very VERY interesting with the quote, but I’m sadly stuck applying the idea to the challenge...

Is there a sense of "right or left choice"?
