This year, the Red Team Competition is co-organized by Grenoble INP-Esisar and Root-Me PRO.
The final event will take place alongside CSAW and is open to all high school students, whether you are a beginner or an insider in cybersecurity topics. 👨🎓

In order to be able to participate in the final event on Thursday, November 10 on the ESISAR campus, register for the qualifying phase which takes place online on a dedicated Root-Me PRO environment.

On the occasion of our partnership with OpenClassroom, and with the help of Podalirius, many Windows and Active Directory challenges are coming soon on RootMe!

These challenges will allow you to learn about Windows environments and Active Directory infrastructures to learn how to exploit various vulnerabilities and configuration flaws.

After several months of work, the Root-Me and Root-Me PRO teams are particularly proud to share with the whole community the first achievements resulting from our collaboration with OpenClassrooms and various other experts.

The result? Free access courses, designed by OpenClassrooms and passionate experts associated with challenges proposed on Root-Me. Simple, effective! 🎯

Try the first two courses one dedicated to performing a penetration testing and the other to Active Directory security, as well as three virtual training environments designed specifically for them :
● The "Perform a Web Penetration Testing" course with associated DVWA and Juice Shop virtual environments
● The "Ensure the security of your Active Directory and Windows domains" course, with associated AD-DS virtual environment

This collaboration, which is based on common values carried for many, many years by Root-Me and OpenClassrooms, allows us to go even further in the diffusion and sharing of Infosec knowledge. 🚀

For more than 10 years, New York University (NYU) has organized a cyber security competition - CSAW (Cyber Security Awareness Week) - which gathers participants from all over the world.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Grenoble INP - ESISAR engineering school in Valence is hosting the European final (other regional finals are held simultaneously in Mexico, India, United Arab Emirates, etc.) which will take place in November.

The program:
– CAPTURE THE FLAG: a 36-hour competition for students in computer science and networks (15 teams of 4 finalists)
– EMBEDDED SECURITY CHALLENGE : a competition dedicated to the security of embedded and physical systems for students in engineering schools or cybersecurity masters (10 teams of 4 finalists)
– APPLIED RESEARCH COMPETITION: the finalists (doctoral students in cybersecurity) present the results of their work to a panel of experts (10 finalists)
– RED TEAM COMPETITION: an introductory cybersecurity competition for high school students. Root-Me PRO is the co-organizer of this competition in collaboration with the KrHacken club and the teachers of Grenoble INP Esisar. For the RED event, a qualification round will take place between September 15th and October 15th on Root-Me PRO environments. The final will take place in Valence on November 10th, 2022 (travel expenses can be covered after study). If you are eligible, you can already register here.

leHACK returns on June 24 and 25, 2022 at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in the heart of Paris.
The event will take place this year over 2 days of conferences and workshops, as well as the wargame which will be held as always on Saturday evening.
