App - Script

Anyone getting anywhere with this challenge?
I already found that I can start netcat sockets and that they actually trigger the script to do it’s magic. But then, how do you break out of this? I looked into the source of the script included, did my research on what awk is trying to do. But still, no clue how to move forward from here. Any hints?

I just started messing with this one. It is a challenge. I have my own ideas on where to go from here...but it doesn’t seem to be working at the moment.

How did you manage to make netcat triggering the script ? I don’t really understand what to do with that.
