Cryptanalysis

Hello everyone,

Like everybody before me, i have been doing a couple tricks to get this task somehow moving far away from desk.
First i translated this text to human-understandable text and coded the transpositions in python. Everything is fine now. The issue is the following:
Without key and key array, the only way seems to be using the force. I do not know the length of the key and i do not know the order of the letters.

It seems to be i should use good word lists to go further. Guessing one by one.
Well, all the good things come from heaven down for good reason, they say so and i still do not know why .. :)
Can anyone tell me if the text is in French or English. I hope it is in English, so i can decipher more quickly.
