Hi! I’ve found the flaw inside the code, and i exploited it in such a way i redirected the execution flow and injected the shellcode inside the BSS section. The only problem is the shellcode. It doesn’t work. I put my IP at 192.168.1.1 and i tried many ip addresses, but nothing. The connection is on port 31337. The shellcode is the connectback_shellcode proposed by the book "The art of Exploitation" (here the shellcode: https://github.com/hayatoito/hacking-2nd/blob/master/connectback_shell.s ). I don’t know why it doesn’t work. Please help.
