I am trying to solve some kernel exploitation challenges on root-me. I setup debugging via VMWare. But I can not set breakpoint to debug the modules. What should I do?

Do you give me some recommandations as ebook title, documents? Or better ways to debug linux kernel?

As i know, we need to boot kernel with proper options while in grub.

But, i think it will be cool if someone from geeks give us link to proper material.
